These attempts to limit our freedom are literally fascism on the move again. In the late '70s I read most of a library book titled The Devil's Chemist which, at that time, was falling apart from age. It was very dry reading but important : the minutes from the Nazi party just as it was forming. The major influence was a German drug company, not Adolf Hitler. Their vow was to replace every natural thing with their chemicals. During the occupation of Norway it was a capital offense to teach nutrition according to a book off of my grandmother's shelf, The National Malnutrition. I don't want fascism in the United States. Actually I don't want it anywhere.

I need to say, politics and religion provoke the best and the the bad side in people. The very best because both can lead to folk being unbelievably self-sacrificing, the very worst because both can result in amazingly obstinate and unreasonable acts. I'm not having a pop at you, this comments simply made me grasp it, so thank you for that.
